蚜茧蜂科的 1种。分布于中国北京、山东、浙江、湖北、江苏、江西、福建、广东、台湾;日本;美国；欧洲。寄生于麦长管蚜、橘二叉蚜、桃蚜、忍冬蚜、麻疣额蚜、虎耳蚜等。是寄生在麦长管蚜上的主要寄生蜂,在被寄生蚜虫体内结茧化蛹。一世代历期为12～14天（在20℃左右）。雌蜂体长2.0～2.9毫米，触角长1.1～1.7毫米（见图）。头横形,与胸部等宽;上颊与复眼横径等宽，向后显著收敛；后头脊明显；颜面为头宽的1/2，近方形；颊较短，为复眼纵径的1/4；唇基与脸分隔不明显，长为宽的2倍；单眼3个。触角11节，线形，末端不加粗,中胸盾纵沟的前端1/3明显而深。前翅的翅痣长为宽的4～5倍，径脉第2段为第1径间脉等长或略稍长。前足胫节长度为第1跗节的2.7～2.8倍，第1跗节为第 2跗节的2.2～2.5倍。并胸腹节具近五边形的小室。腹柄节长度为气门瘤间宽度的2.6倍,两侧具细纵脊，中间的纵脊短而末端分叉。腹部纺锤形。产卵器鞘长而窄,其宽度基部为末端的2倍。雄蜂体长1.7～2.0毫米，触角长1.1～1.7毫米，触角比雌性长而粗。除外生殖器外，其他与雌性相似。
