补充资料：东明寺
位于福建漳州市东门屿北段佛澳。东明寺占地200亩，建筑面积达8500多平方米，有山门、佛室、宝殿、玉佛坛、藏经阁、钟楼等30多处建筑物。东明寺虽不如高楼圣殿之巍峨壮观，亦没有名山古刹之赫赫声名，却集中了好几个全国之最。东明寺是全国海拔最低的寺庙，海拔只有60多公分，离海亦只有60多公分，几乎是与海平面持平。可就是这么低的一座庙，却是大浪不能侵其前，大风不能撼其基。多少年来，历经无数次的暴风骤雨地震，全不能动之分毫。东明寺的主殿“万佛宝殿”，由一万尊的琉璃佛建成。晨日暮色中，钟鼓之声隐隐传来，身心荡涤，一片淡然。
该庙始建于宋代，其寺匾“东明寺”为赵朴初所题。
东明寺为东门屿这“海上仙山”添上一处胜景。这正是“塔屿有宝刹，海上月更明”。
