The soil treatment efficacies of 5 herbicides such as 48% trifluralin EC,90% acetochlor EC,96% s-metolachlor,50% acetochlor-clomazone and 45% acetochlor-clomazone on weeds of transplant cotton fields were studied.

Studies were carried out on the soil physical characters, roots vigor, flower bud differentiation, accumulation and contribution of dry matter, changes of leaf area and lint yield of transplanted cotton covered with plastic film (TCCPF) and transplanted cotton (TC).
