| 嵩草属 Kobresia 莎草科的一属。多年生草本，具三棱形秆和禾叶状叶。穗状花序顶生，圆柱状，顶生小穗为雄性，侧生小穗为雄雌顺序或雌性，雄小穗或雌小穗有花1朵，或在两性小穗中基部1朵为雌花，上部为雄花；花单性，无花被；雄花具3枚雄蕊及1枚鳞片；雌花由1枚雌蕊和包着雌蕊的先出叶及鳞片所构成；先出叶边缘仅部分合生。不为果囊状。小坚果双凸状或三棱形。该属50余种，广布于北温带。其中约40种产中国，主要见于西藏、青海、四川、云南等省区的高原和高山。嵩草属植物常成片组成高山草甸，例如在青藏高原北部的大面积嵩草草甸，为当地牦牛、藏羊的优良牧草，主要种类有高山嵩草和矮生嵩草等。 |
