两广小花猪由陆川猪、福绵猪、公馆猪、黄塘猪、塘缀猪、中垌猪、桂墟猪归并,统称两广小花猪。分布于广东、广西省(区)相邻的浔江、西江流域的南部,中心产区有陆川、玉林、合浦、高州、化州、吴川、郁南等地。
一、体形外貌
两广小花猪体短和腿矮为其特征,表现为头短、颈短、耳短、身短、脚短、尾短,故又称为六短猪,额较宽,有y形或棱形皱纹,中有白斑三角星,耳小向外平伸,背腰宽而凹下,腹大多拖地,体长与胸围几乎相等,被毛稀疏,毛色均为黑白花,黑白交界处有4~5厘米宽的晕带,乳头6~7对。
二、生产性能
1、生长发育:6月龄母猪体重38公斤,体长79厘米,胸围75厘米。成年母猪体重112公斤,体长125厘米,胸围1.13厘米。
2、繁殖性能:性成熟较早,小公猪卯日龄有精子,小母猪4~5月龄体重不到30公斤即开始发情,多在6~7月龄、体重40公斤时初配,初产平均产仔8头,三产以上平均产仔10头。
3、肥育性能:据广西资料,月巴育猪自11公斤~87公斤,日增重309克,每公斤增重消耗混合料4.22公斤、青料3.42公斤。体重75公斤屠宰,屠宰率67.72%,胴体中肉占37.2%,脂占45.2%,皮占10.5%,骨占7.1%。

两广小花猪做母本,与引进的瘦肉型品种进行杂交。
