Most forest maps printed before 1980s were plane map of manual drawing and had no any contours,therefore,they were difficult to transfer effectively the borderlines of the compartment and sub-compartment in them to the relief map,because of the paper distortion.
我国于20世纪80年代以前编制的林相图等大多手工绘制的、无等高线的平面图,由于图纸变形的原因,林班和小班界线等无法直接转绘到地形图上,难于充分应用。
