| 水位 water level 水体在某一地点及某一时刻的水面离标准基面的高度。标准基面有两类：一为绝对基面，指国家规定的、作为高程零点的某一海平面，其他地点的高程均以此为起点，中国规定黄海基面为绝对基面。另一种为假定基面，指为计算水文测站水位或高程而暂时假定的水准基面。常采用河床最低点以下一定距离处作为本站的高程起点，常在测站附近没有国家水准点，或者在一时不具备条件的情况下使用。水位可用各式水尺或自记水位计观测、记录。水位资料直接应用于水利工程建设，如防汛、航运、给水、灌溉、排水、桥梁、码头等建筑物的设计，间接应用于推求流量。此外还应用于水文预报和水面比降的研究。 |
