草甸植被

   以多年生中生草本植物为主体,发育于中度湿润条件下的植被类型。常称为草甸。草甸植被草层高而茂密,种类较丰富,主要有禾本科、莎草科、蔷薇科、菊科、豆科及蓼科等植物。一年生植物、小半灌木和灌木处于从属地位。根据分布地形部位可分为河漫滩草甸和大陆草甸,后者还可分为旱地草甸、低地草甸、山地草甸、亚高山草甸和高山草甸。按植物群落性质可分为典型草甸、高寒草甸、沼泽化草甸和盐生草甸等。草甸一般不构成独立的地带,属隐域性植被或跨带植被,但高山草甸和亚高山草甸可组成植被垂直带。中国的河漫滩草甸及大陆草甸大多已被开垦,在青藏高原东部及北方温带地区的山地和边远的低平原、海滨也有大片分布。草甸植被由于水分适中、土壤肥沃,历来是人类开垦的对象。
