【来源】
为败酱科植物狭叶败酱的根。
【植物形态】
狭叶败酱 多年生草本，高50～100厘米。茎直立，上部分枝。叶对生；基部叶通常3裂，或不裂，顶端裂片卵状长椭圆形，长6～9厘米，宽2.5～4厘米，先端长尖，基部狭窄成柄，边缘具大锯齿；上部叶披针形，长4～6厘米，全缘，两端均窄尖。聚伞花序集成伞房状的圆锥花丛；花黄色，花梗和花柄均具短毛。果实倒卵形，长2～3毫米，具短柔毛。花期8～9月。 生于山野路旁。分布江苏、安徽、浙江、江西、广西、湖南、湖北、贵州等地。 本植物的带根全草，在少数地区有时亦作败酱的类同品入药。

全年可采。

《贵州草药》："辛，温。"
【功用主治】
散寒，燥湿。治风寒感冒，疟疾，肠炎。 ①《广西药植名录》："治疟疾。" ②《贵州草药》："发表散寒，燥湿理气。治风寒感冒，肠炎，小儿阴缩。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.5～1两。
【选方】
①治风寒感冒：狭叶败酱五钱。水煎服。 ②治肠炎，腹泻：狭叶败酱一两。水煎服。 ③治小儿阴缩：狭叶败酱三钱，茴香根三钱。水煎服。(选方出《贵州草药》)
