采用污染指数法和污染起始值法，对贵阳发电厂的粉煤炭及其土灰混合种植的农作物中的有害元素镉、铬、铅、砷、汞含量进行分析，结果表明：粉煤灰不会对土壤和种植的玉米、水稻、茄子、辣椒、白菜、马铃薯、红薯造成污染；而仅在小麦、油菜籽、蚕豆中钻含量超过污染起始值，污染指数大于1，不能食用。
