Erysiphales

   子囊菌亚门核菌纲的一目。该目真菌常生长在植物的表面。菌丝体表生或半内生 ,以吸胞进入寄主细胞吸取养分。无性型是从菌丝上长出直立的分生孢子梗,在梗端形成单生或成串的分生孢子。绝大多数属只有大型分生孢子梗和分生孢子,个别属则有大、小两型。有性型形成球型、扁球形或陀螺形无孔口的子囊果。子囊果壁最外层的少数细胞后来发育成附属丝,大多数属的附属丝为长型,仅少数属有长、短两型。在子囊果底部有单个或多个子囊,子囊内有2~8个单胞、无色至近无色的子囊孢子。在热带和亚热带很少形成子囊果,完全以分生孢子或菌丝体越冬;在温带,夏季形成分生孢子,秋季形成子囊果,以子囊果越冬。
   白粉菌目通常被归入不整囊菌纲或核菌纲。一般认为该目只有白粉菌科1科。它们可以寄生在近万种的种子植物上,给很多经济作物带来危害。习见的有为害禾谷类的禾谷布氏白粉菌,为害葡萄的葡萄钩丝白粉菌,为害苹果的苹果白粉菌等。
