水帘洞即红花尔基河瀑布，因酷似传说中的“水帘洞”而得名，为于柴河镇西南35公里处，绰而河水，汹涌澎湃，沿山谷南流，两岸如劈，飞石峥嵘。在水帘洞处，山势形成一级阶地，落差6米，一带银瀑飞泄而下，涌入潭中，涛声贯耳，如笙管和鸣；浪花飞溅，似美玉珍珠，霞光万道，紫气千条，潭水清澈而幽深，勇气升腾，变化莫测。潭水两侧，古木参天，浓荫蔽日，怪石突兀，硕大无朋。有一深洞，隐约藏于瀑布之后，恰似“水帘洞”，攀上山岩，极目远眺，绿涛如海，河水如带，群山环绕，拥黛叠翠，奇峰林立，直插天穹。山脚下一座小屋炊烟袅袅依稀可见，是日夜守已在这块如诗如画般神奇土地上的卫士——森林警察战士们的驻地。
