In this paper, using ferrocene and the catalyzer anhydrous aluminium chloride, four double substitutional arene-Cp iron salts were synthesized including [di[Cp-Fe]-diphenylether]PF_6, [di[Cp-Fe]-biphenyl]PF_6, [di[Cp-Fe]-N-ethylcarbazole]PF_6, [di[Cp-Fe]-carbazole]PF_6 which were compared with single substitutional arene-Cp iron salts.
