Because of the universal heavy vehicles, the damage of the road especially that cross through the soft foundation or the underground river region is growing increasingly; the pavement appears prematurely rut, pavement uplift, pits, frothing and fissures, etc.
由于车辆的普遍重载,特别是处于地下暗河及软基区等特殊地段的道路,其变形破坏日益加剧:公路路面过早出现严重车辙、拥包、坑槽、翻浆和龟裂等,若上述裂缝得不到及时的养护维修,在水的作用下将进一步发展为松散或坑槽等水损害,严重影响路基的稳定性,同时在重载等诱因作用下,路基路面的应力分布更加不均匀,应力集中现象更加严重,使得路基路面的应力和弯沉随车辆荷载的增加明显增大,路基出现不同程度的变形失稳。

补充资料：大口岩地下河
位于连州，因其岩洞口宽大而得名。这个巨型的天然石灰岩溶洞共分上中下三层，最高处40米左右，最宽处50米有余，岩壁坚固，雄伟壮观。游毕大口岩着陆层，还可乘舟泛游神奇的地下河。沿河两岸布满石钟乳、石笋、石柱、石幔、石花等，景态万千。河内有香蕉峡、莲花峡、龙门峡三个峡谷，泛舟沿河仰望，石幔晶莹洁白，磷光闪闪，有如进入地下石刻艺术宫殿，引人入胜，流连忘返。著名作家秦牧先生曾到此一游，赞其"神秘瑰丽"。
