在朱家尖东北部，蜿蜒伸展着白山沙、月岙沙、大沙里、樟州沙、东沙、南沙、千沙、里沙、青沙九个金色绸缎般的沙滩，沙滩有岬角卫护，独立成景，一个接一个，组成庞大的链状沙滩群，全长5千多米，号称“十里金沙”。其中东沙、南沙、千沙、里沙、青沙五大沙滩多长达千米，宽逾二百米，滩面沙质细腻。
