性质:又称蛎灰菌素。从链霉属的牡蛎灰霉素(Streptomyces  pristinaespiralis)的固体培养物中分离出的一组具环状肽链结构的抗生素,分为奥斯立新A、G、B、B1、B2和B3几种。其中A和G的结构已确定,将A中的二氢吡咯环改为四氢吡咯环即为G。具有促进动物生长的活性。A:熔点200℃(分解)。旋光度-209°(c=1,乙醇)。G:灰黄色固体。熔点122~127℃(分解)。旋光度+78°(c=1.36,乙醇)。
