一种植物病害。染病植株叶部叶绿素的形成受到抑制，呈现黄绿色或黄白色。林木上的黄化现象多局部发生，集中在枝梢的叶部或丛生枝条的叶上。叶肉和叶脉的黄化程度往往不同，黄化的叶片上有时出现坏死的枯斑。黄化病见于多种针叶、阔叶树种，严重时可导致植株矮化，甚至枯死。主要由类菌原体和病毒的侵染或土壤中缺乏某种营养元素所致。在碱性土壤上，树木缺乏可供吸收的二价铁，叶绿素形成受阻时，顶梢黄化的现象非常普遍。贫瘠或排水不良的土地上生长的杉木也易发生黄化病。病毒引起的槭树花叶病、云杉矮化和类菌原体引起的枣疯等都伴随有局部的黄化现象。防治方法因致病原因而异，营养不调或积水所致的黄化病应以改善生长环境为主；侵染性黄化病的防治则主要在于培育抗病品系以及防止通过繁殖材料和昆虫的传播。四环素类药物对类菌原体所致黄化病有抑制作用。
