| 库车县 位于中国新疆维吾尔自治区中西部，塔里木盆地北缘。面积1.50万平方千米。1990年人口33.7万。民族有维吾尔、汉、回等。汉为龟兹地。清光绪十年（1884）设库车直隶厅，1902年改库车直隶州。民国二年(1913)改为库车县。县境处于天山南麓，地势北高南低。北部为山地，有高大山峰，终年积雪。库车河流经北部，渭干河斜贯东南部形成冲积平原。农作物主要有小麦、玉米、棉花、水稻及梨、杏、葡萄、石榴、无花果等果品。畜牧以羊为主。特产以三北羊羔皮、小白杏、薄壳核桃著称。工业有煤炭、建材、电力、地毯、轧花、粮油加工等。矿产资源有石油。名胜古迹有库木吐拉千佛洞、克孜尔尕哈千佛洞、龟兹故城遗址等。
