实验室前期研究从拟南芥T-DNA插入突变体库中筛选获得了一株早花突变体efs1(early flowering in short mutant 1),通过Genome Walking技术和生物信息学方法鉴定出一个新的拟南芥开花调控相关基因EFS1,为进一步明确该基因的功能及其在开花调控途径中的具体作用,本研究通过互补回复和超表达试验,验证了EFS1基因确为拟南芥开花调控基因;利用RT-PCR和GUS组织化学染色技术,明确了EFS1基因在不同组织中表达水平及组织定位;利用RT-PCR和Real-Time PCR技术,初步明确了EFS1基因在开花控制途径中的位置及其调控开花的模式,为进一步阐明EFS1基因的调控机理奠定良好基础。
