阴地植物 ，亦称阴生植物。
适宜生长在蔽阴环境中的植物。例如玉簪、胡椒、酢浆草、春兰等植物。它们的光合作用适应于在较弱的光照下进行。阴地植物的叶片一般大而薄，栅栏组织不甚明显，细胞间隙比较发达，叶绿体比较大，叶绿素含量较多。有些阴地植物，表皮细胞常具叶绿体，有利于光的吸收和利用，适于荫蔽环境。阴地植物的叶面往往与光线垂直，小枝上叶的排列，多呈平面的镶嵌。
