形态特征 松科云杉属常绿针叶乔木植物,高达20米。枝条粉红色或褐黄色;冬茅圆锥形,淡褐色。叶四棱状锥形。球果圆锥状,幼球果紫红色,直立;成熟时褐色。种子倒卵形,褐色,具翅。花期5月,球果9月成熟。
生境分布:喜寒冷潮湿环境,生于海拔1750-3100米的山地阴坡和半阴坡及潮湿谷地。分布于甘肃、宁夏、青海东部、内蒙古中部。
用途:为高山区重要森林更新树种和荒山造林树种,亦可作为庭园观赏树种。木材可供建筑、家具及纤维工业原料用材。
