形态特征:
秆劲直,高7-13m,径4-6cm,节间长30-50cm,秆环平滑,箨环线状凸起,幼时被一圈栗色刺毛,分枝习性高,每节3枚,贴秆上举,枝条短小。箨鞘新鲜时棕绿色,密被栗色刺毛,顶端窄,截平形;无箨耳,鞘口遂毛长达15mm,波曲状;箨舌高5mm,半圆形拱凸,边缘具细软毛;箨叶直立,窄长三角形,边缘粗糙。叶片厚而坚韧,窄长披针形,长18-35cm,宽2-4cm。

分布与习性:
分布:广东、福建、湖南、广西等地,尤以广东怀集面积为最大。江西、江苏、浙江等地有引种栽培。阳性,喜温暖湿润气候,稍耐寒
