Hongyuan County is located in east margin region of Qinghai-Xizhang Plateau, and located in 31°5l ～33°20 N, 101°51 ～103°2l E, 12 aquatic plant communities distribut in the area.
红原县位于青藏高原东缘，约界于３０°５１＇～３３°２０＇Ｎ，１０１°５１＇～１０３°２１＇Ｅ之间，调查了１２种水生植物群落：木里苔草群落、帕米尔苔草群落、水木贼群落、曲轴黑三棱群落、沿沟单群落、草群落、睡菜群落、楔叶蓼群落、穗花狐尾藻群落、菹草群落、龙须眼子菜群落和沼生水马齿群落。

补充资料：郏亶(1038～1103)
中国北宋水利家。字正夫，江苏太仓人。嘉祐二年(1057)进士。中年以水利、役法、盐、铜、酒五利向朝廷献议，先后两次上书论太湖水利得失，为宰相王安石所称许。熙宁中任司农寺丞，掌管兴修两浙水利。他根据太湖地区的地形特点，在总结前人经验的基础上，提出涝旱并治、治水与治田相结合分期施工、 5年完成的全面治理方案，奉命在 6郡34县同时进行整治。由于富绅豪强的利益受到冲击，他的方案不能实现，被排挤去职。在回到家乡大泗瀼后根据他的方案修建圩岸、沟渠、场圃，获得成功，复任司农寺丞，后出知温州，召升比部郎中，未到职病死。著有《吴门水利书》，载于南宋范成大《吴郡志》中，为后世论太湖水利者所重视。
