| 喀斯特峰林 karst peak forest 高耸林立的石灰岩山峰。分散或成群地出现在平地上，远望如林。它是热带喀斯特的典型地貌形态，以中国华南最为发育，被称为中国式喀斯特，属广义峰林的范畴。基座不相连，相对高度一般为100～200米，直径小于高度，坡度大多在60°以上，甚至直立，属狭义的峰林范畴。峰丛是一种复合地貌，上部是高耸的典型的峰林形态，下部为彼此相连的基岩山地，峰间形成U字形垭口，峰丛的坡度一般为30°～60°，相对高度可达300～600米。喀斯特峰林形成于高温、高湿的气候条件下，分布于年平均温度20℃和年降水量1500毫米以上的地区。峰林分布于区域性地壳运动处于轻微上升的地区，峰丛则分布于地壳运动比较强烈的地区。峰丛区的地下水埋藏较深，地下水系发育，流域面积较大。如中国广西都安瑶族自治县的地苏地下水系的流域面积达1000平方千米左右。峰丛区域的水平洞穴较少，垂直洞穴较发育。
