Based on the physical mechanism of evaportranspiration, this paper analyzed main factors affecting slope e-vaportranspiration in loess gully area of Western Shanxi province; put forward evaportranspiration models of slope soil in the condition of unsaturated soil moisture.

Optimum design of artificial rainwater catchment in broken loess plateau in western Shanxi Province;

During 1992 to 1999, author has investigated rodents in slope wasteland in typical broken loess plateau gully region, the result is follow as:(1)There are 9 species rat ,and Lesser long tailed hamster, Greater long tailed hamster, Suphur bellied rat and Siberian chipmunk are superority species.

This area is of remnant loess plateau, which posses certain difficulty for DC electrical water seeking.
