飞行高度层(flight level):是指以1013.2百帕气压为基准的等压面,各等压面之间具有规定的气压差。以标准大气水平面为基准面,按一定高度差划分的高度层。把航空器配备在不同的高度层上,使航空器之间有规定的安全高度差,是防止航空器互撞或航空器与地面障碍物相撞的重要措施。
