| 介绍: 体侧扁，呈椭圆形，体长13～23厘米、体重200～500克、背缘狭窄、弓状弯曲度。口小、前位，上颌前端犬牙4枚、下颌犬牙6枚，两颌两侧各具臼齿2列。前鳃盖骨后平滑。鳃盖骨后缘具1扁棘。背鳍连续无缺刻，背鳍第1和第2鳍棘很短小但第3和第4棘突出延长如丝状，故而得名二长棘鲷，尾鳍叉形。体被弱栉鳞，背部鲜红色，腹部较淡，胸鳍及腹鳍色较浅，体侧有若干蓝色纵带、侧线明显、微弯。背鳍、臀鳍金黄色。 |
