放线菌目的 1科。雏形菌丝体纵横分裂呈砖墙状,形成球菌状或立方形细胞,后者在适当条件下长出鞭毛,能游动;一般无气生菌丝;革兰氏染色阳性;不抗酸。
嗜皮菌属 雏形基内菌丝末端尖细,有与主丝成直角的侧枝,菌丝粗大,直径可达5微米,表面有粘鞘,内部通常有8个平行排列的球形细胞,释放后形成带5~7根细长鞭毛的游动孢子。
好气兼性嫌气菌 适温37°C,加10%二氧化碳,能促进生长;可能形成气生菌丝,但分隔和孢子形成推迟,通常在复杂有机培养基上生长;接触酶阳性;从葡萄糖、果糖产酸。能侵害哺乳动物非角质化表皮,引起牛、羊、马和其他食草动物患天然发生的链丝菌病,很少见于人类。多数研究者认为只有刚果嗜皮菌1种。
地嗜皮菌属 基内菌丝为有分枝、无荚膜的管状体,内部纵横分裂成砖墙状。细胞立方形,0.5~2.0微米。仅隐暗地嗜皮菌1种,分离自美国各地(特别是内华达州的阿马戈萨沙漠)。菌丝体在透射光照下呈暗绿色,琼脂上的菌落呈暗褐至黑色。在加酵母精的合成培养基上生长好;好气,适温24~28°C,37°C生长减弱,50°C不长;对实验动物无致病性。
