| 砂田 中国西北干旱地区用砂石覆盖土壤表层以蓄水保墒，提高土温的免耕农田。分布在甘肃、青海一带。其作用砂石覆盖，能渗纳雨水，减少蒸发，提高土壤蓄水保墒能力和含水量；既能增温促进作物早出苗和生长发育，又可提高昼夜温差，利于提高作物产量和品质；防止土壤的风蚀和水蚀，减轻盐碱、病虫和杂草为害。其类型按使用年限分为新砂田、中砂田和老砂田；按有无灌溉条件分为水砂田和旱砂田；按砂石状况分为卵石砂田、绵砂砂田和破石砂田。长期种植作物后，砂、土逐渐混合，丧失砂田效果，称砂田老化。营造砂田宜选平坦的土地，坡地的坡度应小于15度。荒地先经平地后再盖砂石，厚度约10厘米。熟地先耕翻晒垡，施足基肥，平整后盖砂石。禾谷类作物用砂田播种耧将种子播入砂石层下的土壤表面；瓜、菜类作物应挖穴扒开砂石点种后再覆盖。砂田作物收获时拔除秸秆，不留残茬，没有一般免耕农田因残茬覆盖而产生有毒物质，降低地温和病虫害增加等弊病。 |
