为龙舌兰科植物剑叶朱蕉的叶。
【植物形态】
剑叶朱蕉，又名：小叶铁树、剑叶万年青。 常绿灌木。干直立，粗壮，少分枝。叶聚生于茎顶，叶片披针形，无柄，长30～60厘米，宽1.8～4厘米或更狭，稍坚挺，光亮，全缘，两边红褐色。圆锥花序顶生或侧生，直立或点垂；花柄极短，基部有苞片3枚；花被管钟形，青紫色，长6～8毫米，6裂，裂片狭，内裂片长于外裂片；雄蕊6；子房3室。浆果紫色。花期夏季。 栽培于庭园。广东、广西均有栽培。

全年可采。
【性味】
甘淡，平。无毒。
【功用主治】
理跌打，治咳嗽吐血，鼻衄血，大小便出血，外伤出血，小儿疳积，哮喘，痢症。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，2～4两。
