      指示飞机的转弯方向和侧滑状况的飞行仪表。它由转弯仪和侧滑仪组成,是保证飞机正确盘旋和协调转弯的基本飞行仪表。转弯仪是最早(约1920年)得到实际应用的单自由度陀螺仪。陀螺内环轴支承在仪表壳体上。当飞机向左盘旋时,仪表壳体带动内环轴一起转动,使陀螺受到一个同方向的外力矩,根据陀螺的进动性的规则,陀螺立即绕内环轴进动,并通过倒向传动机构使指针偏向左边。陀螺进动的角度与盘旋角速度有关,因此,指针偏离中间的程度便反映出盘旋角速度的大小。为了避免指针摆动,表内还装有阻尼器,给内环轴以阻尼力矩。右盘旋时的工作原理完全一样,只是指针偏向右边。侧滑仪由弧形玻璃管和密封于其中的小球以及阻尼液组成。玻璃管固定在表盘上,飞机水平直线飞行时,小球位于玻璃管的中央。当飞机作正确盘旋时,作用在小球上的重力和离心力的合力方向与飞机竖轴一致,小球仍在中间位置,说明飞机无侧滑。当飞机有侧滑时,合力方向与飞机竖轴不一致,小球便偏离中间位置。
