| 袁同礼(1895～1965) 华裔美国图书馆学家， 目录学家。字守和。河北徐水人。生于北京。1916 年毕业于北京大学。1917年任清华学校图书馆主任。1918年当选为北京图书馆协会会长。1920年赴美，在哥伦比亚大学、纽约州立图书馆专科学校学习。1924年回国，在北京大学讲授目录学，兼图书馆主任。同年，去广州任广东大学图书馆馆长，并担任中华图书馆协会书记。1929年任北平图书馆副馆长 ，1942 年升任馆长 。1949年赴美，先后在美国国会图书馆和斯坦福大学研究所工作。袁同礼在北平图书馆任馆长时，聘请一些专家，为该馆藏书、编目、书目等项业务打下基础。著有《永乐大典考》、《宋代私家藏书概略》、《明代私家藏书概略》、《清代私家藏书概略》、《中国音乐书举要》、《西文汉学书目》（英文本）等。 |
