性质：陶瓷体在施釉前后各进行一次高温热处理的烧成方法。基本上有两类情况，其一是未上釉的生坯先烧一次成素坯，施釉后再烧一次。这种二次烧成工艺多用于生坯强度较低的陶瓷制品，如部分釉面砖及精陶制品等。某些工业陶瓷坯中加入较多有机增塑剂、黏结剂、分散剂等，也常采取先素烧、施釉、再烧成的方法。其二是某些半导体陶瓷，如晶界层电容器等常先采用还原气氛(如通氢或氢和氮)烧成，再涂覆晶界绝缘层膏后进行第二次烧成(氧气氛)，使半导化晶粒之间形成晶界绝缘层。通常二次烧成对保证产品质量、提高合格率有利，但产品能耗有所增加。
