补充资料:水文地理图
      反映地球上水文要素及有关地理因素的空间变化状况的专题地图。早期水文地理图是简单的水系图和航海图,近代多编制降水、径流等水文要素地理分布图。中国一些古籍中,就有中国水系图。1957年中国科学院地理研究所郭敬辉主编并发表中国地表径流等值线图。1963年中国正式出版《中国水文图集》,由水利水电科学研究院主编。该图集共有图70幅,以等值线或分区图的形式,表示了降水、蒸发、径流、暴雨、洪水、泥沙、水质、冰情等项水文要素特征值的地理分布情况。1981年中国科学院地理研究所新编并发表了中国径流图及降水分布图。1965~1974年,苏联水文委员会在联合国教科文组织的"国际水文十年"活动中,研究了世界水平衡和地球水资源问题,编制出《世界水平衡图集》。该图集1976年由联合国教科文组织出版。是比较系统全面地反映世界水文状况的水文地理图幅。
  
  水文地理图的编制根据有二:一是水文观测资料的统计分析;二是水文地理研究成果的综合分析。统计分析手段随社会科技进步而变化,现阶段开始广泛应用计算机技术和遥感技术来编制水文地理图。
