【经济信息与金融信息】经济信息是反映经济活动特征及其发展变化情况的各种消息、情报、资料的统称。人们在从事经济活动的过程中，不断地产生着各种经济信息，并通过经济信息的采集、加工提炼、传递、反映和沟通经济状况的变化，用以控制和管理经济活动。 经济活动的多样性构成了经济信息的多样性。金融作为国民经济的一个重要部门，每日每时融汇于经济活动之中。它是现代经济活动中不可缺少的一部分，很显然作为银行业务相关的金融信息就成为经济信息的重要组成部分。 金融信息或称金融经济信息是指与银行活动、保险活动、投资活动、金融市场上的资金转移以及与此相关的金融管理等经济行为产生的经济信息，作为经济信息的一种，它具有经济信息的一般特征。 1.社会性—它在社会中人与人之间传播，以数据、文字和图表、符号等形式被全体社会成员接受并理解。 2.有效性—有效的经济信息，综合对社会经济管理产生巨大的效益，成为无形的财富。 3.连续性—经济信息是社会经济活动的动态反映，随着经济活动不断进行，经济信息可以连续地加以描述。 同时，由于金融活动的特殊性，金融信息还具有其自身的一些特点: 1.综合性。由于银行和金融机构遍及全国，它掌握的金融信息综合了各地方的情况，具有较强的代表性;另一方面银行(保险)作为国民经济综合部门，与企业保持着经常的联系，它们之间通过业务往来所产生的金融信息，有很强的综合性。 .2.真实性。作为宏观经济、微观经济连接纽带的各级银行部门，其业务中产生的金融信息反映了整个国民经济运行状况，从这个意义上说金融信息最具有权威性，可信度大，真实度高。 3.系统性。金融信息的系统性体现在金融系统的信息收集、处理、传递过程中。我国银行系统从上至下有一套完整的组织机构，通过这一组织机构，由下而上自成体系加工和传递信息，同时提炼各银行提供的金融信息，使之系列化。
