流速的大小和方向均不随时间及距离而变的明渠水流。又称恒定等速流。这种明渠水流只在特定条件下形成,即底坡为常数的正坡棱柱形渠道、糙率沿程不变、无建筑物干扰、水流为恒定流、流量沿程不变。明渠均匀流是重力和阻力相平衡时的流动,其动能保持不变,而水头损失取自势能的减少。其特性是总水头线、水面线与渠道底坡线为互相平行的直线,故水力坡度和渠道底坡相等。明渠均匀流的规律可用谢才公式表示。利用此式可进行过水能力估算、渠道断面尺寸设计等。
