This paper gives priority to the study of impact of blasting shock on the power generating units and their instruments of a power plant under operation and makes an approach to the safety assessment basis and control standard of blasting shock according to the experiences gained from realignment and widening of the river bed downstream from the Gongzui Hydropower Plant on the Daduhe River.
