【掉期交易的基本条件】掉期交易不同于一般交易，只要相互价格合适就可成交。对于掉期交易来说，在相互商定价格之后，还必须商定一些有关条件，最终形成合同文本的形式才算生效成交。一般来说，掉期交易包括如下各项条件:(1)金额>抵谐交易的最低交易单位是l《XX)万美元，其他货币要相当于这一金额。(2)货币。一般来说，使用较多的货币是美元、德国马克、瑞士法郎、英镑、日元，最近也有使用欧洲货币单位的。(3)期限。通常较多的是5一7年，超过十年的也有。目前，在5年以上期限的中长期远期外汇市场尚不成熟的情况下，长期的掉期交易的作用是很大的。(4)偿还方法。只要相互间充分协商，可以实现多种多样的资金流动向安排，例如到期一次偿还、分期偿还、本利均等偿还等等。(5)利率。一般都参照市场情况，以市场利率为基础双方协商决定利率。(6)将来的义务。因为是相互交换资金，所以，一旦一方的当事人停止了支付，另一方的当事人则可以不履行义务。这是掉期交易的特点。(7)中途解约。如果合同被破坏将要承担不测的风险，所以要规定中途解约的条件。这是掉期交易里最重要的一项内容。(8)其他。支付给牵头人、中间人的手续费、各种费用的负担、适应的法律等项都要规定清楚。以上各项条件最终汇总成合同书的形式，交易才算完成生效。
