本文在翻译认知观的基础上以意象图式理论为依据,通过对Gone with the Wind中408个介词over和above的翻译案例分析,证明英汉翻译不仅仅是两种语言间在语篇层面的意义迁移,从词汇层面看翻译中还应该且能够保持认知上的一致和对应,实现意象图式的跨语言映射。
