Based on ohde s theory, stress distribution theory and settlement formula in horizontally stratified ground, the trend of static cone penetration resistance near strata interface, and the influence area of the interface are quantitatively analysed, the calculation formulas and methods for the led depth and lag depth are present, the results are nearly coincide with actual measurement.
