性质:大多是发生在极低温度时的相变。例如,在居里点铁磁体转变为顺磁体,在零磁场下超导体转变为正常导体,液态氦Ⅱ与液态氦Ⅰ之间的λ相变等。二级相变的特点是,两相的化学势和化学势的一级偏微商相等,但化学势的二级偏微商不相等。因此在相变时没有体积变化和潜热(即相变热)。在相变点,两相的体积、焓和熵的变化是连续的。故这种相变也称为连续相变(continuous phase transition)。
