Using optical microscopy,scanning electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive analyzer,and X-ray diffraction,the as-cast microstructure and phase shapes of Al-Si alloys with different strontium additions are investigated,and the variation of α-Al dendrite morphology with strontium additions is also studied.
