1.以铁索﹑藤索或篾索联系两岸为桥,一般建于山高谷深﹑水势险急处,四川﹑云南﹑贵州多有之。 2.也有用藤或铁索贯巨大竹筒而系于两岸者,过桥时人缚于筒上,用游索往来牵渡,称溜筒桥。见《金川琐记.溜筒桥》。
