安全车（又称保安车，Safety Car；在美国称 Pace Car）是在封闭赛道的赛车赛事中，若遇到赛道出现事故或有其他异常状况（例如下大雨、赛道有散落物）时，引领场上比赛中的赛车，限制他们的车速，以维护赛车及车手安全。 F1（一级方程式）
在赛事中若是有重大状况（例如事故或恶劣天气）时，工作人员会挥黄旗并且在显示看板打出'SC'的字样，代表安全车出动。F1 的 Safety Car 车顶有类似救护车和警车的警示灯，灯的颜色是黄色与绿色。Safety Car 必需维持安全范围内的高速度，因为赛车的车胎需要热胎，方能在赛道正常比赛。所以 Safety Car 需要性能很好的车辆（目前是奔驰提供的 SLK 55 AMG）以及资深的赛车手驾驶（目前是贝恩德·梅兰德（Bernd Maylander，他同时还是DTM车手）），在 Safety Car 出勤时，除了驾驶以外，还会有一位 FIA 的工作人员和带著急救箱的急救人员坐在车内。当 Safety Car 出动时，所有赛道上的赛车都不可互相超车，领先车必须跟随在 Safety Car 之后。
