The universal ship-borne Automatic Identification System (AIS) used SOTDMA in the VHF maritime mobile band modulated by GMSK to send and receive the static and dynamic information of the vessel which could greatly improve the safety and efficiency of the navigation.
船载AIS(自动识别系统)是工作在甚高频频段,采用GMSK调制方式,利用自组织时分多址接入方式,可自动接收和发射船舶的静态和动态信息,从而实现船舶的自动识别、监视和通信的系统,能够大大提高海上航行的安全性和效率,因此AIS在海上航行中发挥着越来越重要的作用。
