性质:有机化合物分子中的氢被锂取代的反应。常用的几种锂化试剂的反应性顺序大致为:丁基锂>乙基锂>苯基锂>甲基锂,其中丁基锂和苯基锂最为重要。三级胺可以增强丁基锂的锂化能力,在三级胺作用下,甚至芳烃也可被锂化在锂化反应中,最常用的溶剂是四氢呋喃和乙醚。最重要的锂化试剂丁基锂是由氯代正丁烷和金属锂作用而制备的。
