This paper introduces a dynamic voltage recovery (DVR) based on three phase three wire system and puts forward an idea of line voltage compensation, which is simple in structure and flexible to control.

The paper presents one kind of voltage compensation means that based on phase-shift control,which could make the load voltage constant when the voltage of the grid fluctuated and have a good harmonic filtering capabilities.

Based on voltage compensation principle, a superconducting magnetic energy storage-current limiting (SMES-CL) integrated system is proposed by integrating series SMES (SSMES) and fault current limiting inductor.

The system analysis modei of series voltage controller is built, and the effects of transformer s internai resistance and leakage reactance on its voltage compensation characteristic, when it adopts open-loop and closed-loop control strategies, are investigated, respectively.
