苏联的载人飞船系列。它是在"东方"号飞船 的基础上改进而成的。"上升"号飞船取消了体积较大的弹射座椅，增加了航天员的座位，最多可乘坐 3名航天员。由于生命保障系统的限制，轨道飞行时间较短。1964～1965 年发射了两艘"上升"号载人飞船。飞船为球-圆柱体，长约6米，直径2.4米，重5.32吨，运行在周期为90分钟、倾角为63°的低轨道上。飞船上装有返回着陆系统，备用制动火箭、辅助定向系统、电视和无线电通信设备等。1964年10月发射的"上升" 1号飞船首次载科学家绕地球飞行，进行了天体物理学、航天医学、生物学的研究和技术试验。1965年3月发射的"上升"2号飞船上增设了气闸舱、操纵气闸工作程序和航天员走出舱外进入太空的控制系统，飞船上备有自主式生命保障系统的特制航天服。航天员Α.Α.列昂诺夫借助这些设备第一次走出飞船，进行了舱外活动。
