该洞位于金龟村八组，小地名叫穿山湾，是一组洞群，有大小洞穴十个，有穿洞、连洞、泉水洞、双眼洞、洞中洞。据带路的村民讲，他们曾经为了寻找失踪的牲口深入过洞穴，这组洞穴有深有浅，浅的只有几百米，深的有十多里路，要从另外一座山钻出来，洞中有的地方十分宽敞，有的地方只能爬行，里面有很多石笋石山石钟乳，十分好看。因为此洞离 318国道直线距离只有一公里路，且与清江河以及沐抚大峡谷相连。
