系统测试(system test)指测量和估计系统或子系统在一定条件下的价值和质量。测试的目的就是要评价系统的性能。例如，评价系统的人的因素就要测试系统中的工作人员是否达到安全、舒适和容易使用等要求。因此，系统的测试和评价是互相联系的。系统测试和评价应贯穿整个系统开发过程，一般可分为三个阶段:(l)子系统开发测试和评价，即对系统中单个组成成分进行测试。(2)系统开发测试和评价，即对由子系统组成的完整的系统进行测试。(3)操作测试和评价，即对系统的使用情况进行测试。通过系统测试对系统进行评价的方法主要有:(l)实验方法，这种方法一般认为对评价和测试人的因素比较精确和有效。(2)模拟方法，即用能够模仿系统但比真实的系统简单、便宜以及容易制造的模拟器来预测系统的性能。(3)模型方法，即用系统本身作为模拟器来评价系统。(4)评价表，即用类似问卷的方法进行评价，主要用于对静态特性的评价。(5)专家咨询，即由具有丰富经验的专家直接作出评价。 (王坚撰朱祖样审)
